We believe that running a business should be exciting and invigorating. That’s why we created Thrive Hubs, to give entrepreneurs and businesses the support they need to take their business to new heights.
Because people are so important to the success of a business we’ve focussed on making each hub a place where collaboration and networking are inevitable instead of an effort. Find new projects at the coffee counter, discover a business partner at the next desk and close deals in fully equipped meeting rooms.
But Thrive Hubs is about more than space to get things done. We also want to foster business growth, which is why we provide a comprehensive selection of business services and technology solutions. Business owners can concentrate on the important things while we handle those daily tasks that can suck up too much time.
Leave the chaos of the coffee shop and the isolation of the spare room behind. Together we can redefine work. Together we can thrive.
BUSINESS AND SPORT: NATURAL TEAMMATES
On the surface there doesn’t seem to be much in common with sportspeople and business owners. We don’t often work up much of a sweat in the office, though client meetings and sales pitches can get pretty intense. But look a little deeper and the similarities are remarkable.
Sports and business both require immense dedication, a drive to succeed, the need for teamwork, the willingness to fail, learn from mistakes and adapt and improve. That’s why we have a natural synergy with sport at Thrive.
Professional golfer David Howell is one of the most respected players on the European Tour, having been part of Europe’s winning Ryder Cup team in 2004 and 2006. In 2005 he beat Tiger Woods to win the HSBC Champions Tournament, followed by winning the BMW Championship in 2006. After being hampered for several years with a back injury David is thriving again. In 2013 he won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, and enjoying three successive top 4 finishes in the early weeks of the 2015 season.
David is the ideal Thrive ambassador because his determination and skill are traits that successful businesses share. If anything wasn’t going to plan he regrouped, set new goals and carefully selected a team with specialist expertise to help him achieve them.
His performance and his brand are his business. He’s dedicated his life to his passion, navigated the ups and downs and come out on top, something we can all learn from.
Peter TregoIn business we always find ourselves wearing several hats to keep all those plates spinning. As a cricketing all-rounder Peter Trego always delivers whether bowling or batting. His 20-year career has seen him take over 550 wickets and scoring over 13,000 runs. But he has also branched out into football playing as goalkeeper for Margate, Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon Town and Chippenham Town during 2004-2005.
Having played 17 years at Somerset, his loyalty and commitment to the success of his team is being marked by a benefit year.
A firm favourite on the Somerset team, Peter’s career has been marked with the same flair, drive and diversity that all successful business owners require, which is why we are delighted to have him as a Thrive ambassador.
